What Pro adds
Pro is for tax time: getting your records out of the app in a form you can lodge from or hand to your tax agent.
- PDF and CSV reports for any tax year, with the rate for each period and the amount worked out, cents dropped
- Suggest past hours: suggestions from file activity for days before you installed WFH Diary, that you check day by day; marked “added later” in your report

Do I need Pro?
Not to keep your records. The free version records every hour and keeps it. You need Pro when you want the PDF or CSV report for your return. You can record all year for free and upgrade in June.
From 2026–27, if your work expenses come to less than $1,000, the new standard deduction may be more than your itemised claim. The deduction calculator shows which is higher for you.
How buying works
You buy Pro in the app, through the Mac App Store. The annual plan renews each year until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases, in the app, unlocks Pro on any Mac signed in to the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Is WFH Diary free?
Yes. Tracking, the diary, the deduction estimate, manual entries, the printable worksheet, bills and iCloud sync are free. WFH Diary Pro adds PDF and CSV reports and Suggest past hours for A$14.99 a year or A$39.99 once.
Can I try the reports before paying?
The Year screen shows your hours and estimated deduction for free, and the printable worksheet lists every session. Pro turns that into the PDF and CSV report.
Does Pro work on all my Macs?
Yes. Use Restore Purchases on each Mac signed in to the same Apple Account.
